The Golden Hour
An hour before sunset.....
That's when the light is golden!
That
moment where the sunshine is low enough to shine horizontal but not
quite low enough to disappear behind the distant trees.

Pearl Lowe's Gypsy Vintage Tea Party!
This year we were invited to be fabulous at Somersault Festival.
Pearl Lowe was hosting a Vintage Tea Party with a Gypsy twist, and we supplied the Photobooth.
With the photographic skills of Sophie at Shuttering Creations and The Fancy Dress Box of Kim at The Krumble Empire,
fabulous was easy.
Daisy and Julie added that special something with their face painting skills.
Photo's are available to download for free
via 'Shuttering Creations' on Facebook.
In the mean time, here are a few of my favourites...

The Eagle has Landed
Once upon a time, I drew a Martial Eagle.
Now I'm painting said eagle on the wall.
Very Big. In a shed.
The Wild West
West Coast New Zealand.
The home of dairy farms galore.
Dargaville to be precise.
Heres last years cow inspired art,
now proudly hanging in the home of Gav and Becky.

Restoring Roadside Rubbish
My Mum found a shitty old chair and stool in the rubbish pile on the roadside which she brought home and left in the garden for me to find months later looking slightly worse for wear.
I glued them, filled them, sanded them, painted them, sanded them again, varnished them and reapholstered them.
Now they look a million dollars!!
