A Flock of Birds

Racheal asked us to paint some bird silhouettes in her cafe 

so me and Sophie are spending a couple of days 

dipping our brushes in black paint at the Assembly Rooms.

We've called it a 'Gulp of Swallows'.

Planting Flowers for the neighbours.

Me and Sophie have been at it again - painting, that is.....

A couple of months ago on one of my location searches I came across this dress in an old wardrobe.... 

It is an original Polwarth Design from 1989 (one of only 2 ever made - Cheryl being the owner of the other dress) 

Its proper Dargaville local. 

I have been searching for the perfect derelict house to photograph it in ever since.

This old rotten farmhouse was perfect. And Dave's Poppa even lent me his shotgun for that proper country living vibe.

Surface Pattern Design Collaboration with JeliRAD.

So, I've been stayin with this amazing woman named JeliRad and she is a pattern designer (amongst other things.) 

Once the kids were nicely tucked up in bed we chilled in her studio eating noodles and drinking wine, coming up with excellent surface pattern design ideas for our future clothing line.
